Some unlucky grooms and brides are clambering to make last minute decision on their marriage plans after that the government shutdown on national parks throughout United States. One of those bride and grooms are Genevieve Jeuck and Michael Sallemi. They had planned to tie the knot at a beautiful resort in the Grand Canyon on Wednesday. Earlier they were notified by the officials of the site that they must consider their decision to get married in this location.
On Tuesday, while speaking to a leading news channel, the to be bride told that she received a phone call recently. She was freaked out and cried. She thought that she was turning into a bridezilla. She had to jump into making new calls. The whole thing was absolutely exhausting. They are still not sure about their plans.
The bride and the groom now has plans to reroute their guests to a brand new location which is just 2 hours away in Sedona. While the brand new location is free, but the couple are not sure whether they would be able to deduct their US$ 250 permit cost as well as the dollars paid in hotel deposits.
As individual parks release their own permits, it is not clear how many marriages would take place in the forthcoming weeks at the hundreds of national parks in the country.
At the Golden Gate National Recreation Area that features sweeping catches of the iconic Golden Gate bridge of San Francisco, eleven marriage permits have been issued for the 1st two weeks in October. Yosemite National Park would host 8 marriage ceremonies in this week alone.

Sean told a leading magazine that they have stated Los Angeles from the beginning, but it may not take place there. At present, the couple live in Los Angeles, but they may eventually shift to Dallas, which is Sean’s hometown.
